The school received NABET [National Accreditation Board of Education & Training] Accreditation in May 2020. NABET is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India headed by the Prime Minister of India. It is one of the few schools in the country to achieve this recognition.
The school received International Dimension in School Certificate from British Council in 2021, which celebrates the school's effort to include international work as part of their curriculum and helps embed it within the school's culture.
C.N.M. SCHOOL & N. D. PAREKH PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOL was the first English medium school started by SVKM in 1997. It was the dream project of Late Shri Mukeshbhai Patel, since SVKM was running several colleges but had only one vernacular medium school.
His Mission was taken forward by Shri Balwantrai Sheth and Shri Vivek Vaidya. Mrs. Lata Munjal was the first Principal of the institution. The school started with 25 students, 1 teacher and 1 support staff in a small place at Gokhalibai School,Vile Parle on June 1997. The school had only a Junior KG section with Mrs. Cheryl Mukath as their teacher.

|The Online process for Nursery & Play School admission starts in the month of October every year through CNM website. Advertisement is also given in the newspaper.||JR.KG. to Std-X admission applications are received and a list is maintained. Admissions are granted as per the vacancy. It is also based on the child's previous year's report card progress in the month of May every year.||The ISC admission starts in the month of February. Children who secure minimum 70% or more than 70% in the Prelim exam are eligible for admission. If the child has not secured minimum 70% in the final result, the admission gets cancelled automatically.|
